Guidelines for Booking with hotel.de
Hotel.de differs from many online hotel sites, or third party websites, as payment is made directly with the hotel upon arrival (or departure) for most transactions.
In some instances, a deposit or prepayment will be required. If applicable, this will be detailed clearly in Step 4 of the booking process, and is dependant on individual hotel policy.
However, in most instances, a reservation made via hotel.de requires no payment upfront.
When no upfront payment is required, rooms booked will be held by the hotel operator until 6PM local time on day of arrival. If arrival time is later than 6PM, a fee may occur or claim to accommodation may no longer exist. If arriving after 6PM, please advise hotel directly of your expected arrival time.
Changes and Cancellations:
Each hotel operator may have specific change/cancellation conditions. If so, these will be evident in Step 4 of the booking process. In many cases there may be no penalty. However, to avoid misunderstandings, please inform hotel.de of any changes or cancellations as soon as possible, preferably online by using this link: http://www.hotel.de/Customer/MyReservations.asp?lng=en. If changes are last minute, please contact the hotel directly.
